The Wild West Collection

The Wild West Collection!
Hello, fellow scrapoholics! Jeanie Ellis, DT here. Today I want to share with you my project from the SCS team. I have a niece who will soon have a birthday, and she loves animals of all kinds, plus she's into sports. So I decided I would use this collection as the perfect card for a little girl who is full of fun, adventure, and lots of energy to do it! Check out all of the digitals! There's many ways you can use them, plus, they're just so doggone cute!! You can get more inspiration from all of the DT's in our Facebook page HERE

I kept this card pretty simple...not a lot of "fru-fru" on it because she's not that kind of gal. In fact, I used a pre-made blank card base (I usually make mine). And the fence with the cactus, horse shoe, and badge are 1 image, and the horse is another. So, I thought it would be cute to put them together. Yes! They're THAT versatile! I colored my images and sentiment with my Prismacolors, cut out the image, added twine for my "rope", and then sequins and pearls on the bottom left-hand side of my card.

The pink card mat is from Paper Temptress, Azalea Mica/Metallic. One of my very favorite papers to use! Love it!

Thank you for stopping by and...."Have a Rootin Tootin kind of day" today...and every day!

Blessings, Jeanie Ellis - Scrapbookingmamaw

Cowabunga!!!

Hi Sharon here from Mollie Moo's Crafty Place I have another sweet critter for you today

Meet Turtle from the Snuggle Palz collection

He comes as a set with the adorable cat too!

So I wanted to do something different with him to show how you can turn these characters into designs for all ages.

Meet Raphael

Yes I added a mask to him and he now looks like a cute version of well know ninja!

After drawing in his mask I colored him with my alcohol markers. I found some design papers on a party website that were perfect for the design so I matted these with red card before adding to a 6x6in card blank.
I then used my graphics program to make my well know sentiment and after matting them with the same red card I added this and my image to the card

Of course you don't have to color him up as a Ninja the images are great to use with any design and so easy to color!

You can find him and all his friends in the Snuggle Palz section of the Scrapoholic Candy Shop

We also have a Facebook page where you can get more inspiration from me and my teamies, there are also giveaways and discounted posted frequently!

Girl Graduate

Jeanie, DT here! And it's time for me to show you another DT project here and at the SCS Facebook page! For this card project, I chose the New Release Girl Graduate for a special young lady I know. Take it from me...this was one fun card to do!

For this image, I used the Prismacolors and blending tool. I almost always begin with the face, and this little cute, adorable face was such a joy to do! I used Glossy Accents on the eyes, tassel, robe "scarf" (I'm not sure what that's called), and her shoes.  I kept it blue and yellow gold because those are some of their colors. The inside of the card has a white sheet to it that I embossed with notebook paper embossing folder. The white paper is from Paper Tempress, Cryogen Iridescent (LOVE that paper!). I happened to have stickers in my stash that were for graduation, so that worked out great!

Come by and see all the great DT projects and other talented, crafty peeps!

Cuties Careeer - Medical

My sister just had surgery this week, so I wanted to be sure she got a handmade card from me. This image is PERFECT for such a card! I love everything about it! What's even better, there are sentiments that come with it. How awesome is that??  Here it is:

I made it using a Gate-Fold method, colored her with my Prismacolors, added a few other things to help the colors "pop", and I was finished. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Check out the images over at The Scrapoholic Candy Shop

Snuggle Palz Monkey

Hello everyone!  How about a cute little monkey card for your Thursday?

How fun was this card to color up and make.  I generally do my coloring on my computer using Photoshop. And I have recently discovered that I can make my own papers using any pattern, (not just their patterns) with my cameo software.  I am sure it is a feature that has always been there, I had just never taken the time to learn to use it.

So, after coloring up this fun monkey, which is part of the snuggle palz set, I added him to the argyle paper with highlighting yellow and orange backing and a flag.  I topped it off by adding three buttons down the flag.

I think it turned out pretty cute, don't you?

Hiss...........

Hi Sharon here from Mollie Moo's Crafty Place, today I have a really cute image to share with you. She comes as part of a set and has a Hippo Snuggle Pal:

Yes I've colored up this cute snake and made her rather girly

She is colored with alcohol markers and I used a white gel pen to highlight her. The sentiment was typed on my PC and added after I had colored the image.
I then used a bright pink cardstock for matting and a sheet of double sided design paper to mat the card and make the smaller accent mat.
A few coordinating pearls just balanced the image.

You can find her and all her friends in the Snuggle Palz section of the Scrapoholic Candy Shop

I Just Called to Say

My 2nd DT Project for SCS!
It's time for some candy, my crafty friends! And Amanda (owner of the SCS), has lots of eye candy...AND of course digitals! Here's what I did for this week:

I made this card using the Mojo Monday Sketch (link here). It was all fairly simple...figuring out the colors of the paper was my biggest concern. Haha. Before I did anything, of course I colored my image....but I cut it out in a circle using my template.  And then I just added the layers in the same that the sketch showed. I've left the inside blank, as I'm not sure who I'm going to give it to yet. But, I do have someone in mind! ;-)

Be sure to check out all the eye candy here! Lots of great images and wonderful DT talent!

I've entered this into Mojo Monday Blog - Sketch

Tangles

Hi Sharon here from Mollie Moo's Crafty Place and have I a cutie to share with you today.

Taken from the Royalty collection meet Tangles

Isn't she just adorable? She comes with her tower as a separate image.

I colored her up using alcohol markers

Her green eyes are just stunning and draw you in to the image.

I then decided I was going to use the tower so colored this up too. I planned to do a side stepper card with the tower on the largest part of the card but when I pulled the images together that was just not going to work so I switched it around slightly and it looked perfect.

I used patterned card from my stash in coordinating colors using the lilac to mat my pink stepper card. The cardstock came with strips of mirrored card and I used one of these for the 'ribbon' along the bottom edge of my card I then adhered my princess baby and her castle to the card. Adding a sentiment which was a line taken from the movie, matted in the same card used for my base.

Using the images this way gave a different perspective so the castle doesn't look too small!

Tangles and all her baby Princesses and Princes are available in the store and are great for children's cards so why not check them all out!

We also have a Facebook page where you can get more inspiration from me and my teamies, there are also giveaways and discounted posted frequently!

 Aren't they the cutest images?
I  have printed out my image onto cryogen cardstock and have colored it with my Copic Markers:
