Dandy Lion

DT Dawn here on this wonderful Saturday to showcase a Scrapoholic Candy Shop cute digi stamp !
Meet Dandy Lion :

I printed out my image colored it using Copics -  E37, E35, E33, E31, Y15, Y13, Y11, YG67, YG63, G20. I then fussy  cut out my colored image.  I used  some dies and cut out the mats for behind my image.   I made a 6x6 card base with white card stock . I layered some brown and yellow CS on top of that. I added a punched border strip. I cut out some squares and cut them diagonally and added them to the top corners of my card. I attached my matted image to the center of my card front.

New! Dozen Roses

New Release! Dozen Roses.....and I LOVE it! Here is the link to the image and The Scrapoholic Candy Shop blog.

Hello, crafters! Jeanie Ellis, DT here, to share with you another project from the SCS!

Now, if you'll look at the image in the SCS website, the flowers are actually reversed. I had a plan to use heavy vellum paper from the Paper Temptress, print the roses on one side, turn it over to color, then turn it back over to see the "watercolor" effect. However, the red really stood out, so I decided to use the colored side, which reversed the image (permission given by owner of SCS shop, Amanda). I used 5 different Prismacolor reds, and 3 greens, and 2 yellows for the artwork. I also used paper from the Paper Temptress for the green and cream paper. The bright yellow was already in my stash.

I bought a black frame and used Rub 'n Buff Grecian Gold on the frame to give it a little "class" to the frame itself, glued some rick rack ribbon around the inside edge of the frame and added a fabric flower with ribbon. Both were RAK'd to me, along with the leaves.

I stamped and colored some butterflies to match the Dozen Roses and glued them on top of the leaves. One bit of advice, however....I really probably should have used a non-shiny glass instead of a shiny glass, as it was hard to photograph without some kind of reflection.

Be sure to check out the blog and the Facebook SCS page for DT inspiration and from others!

Blessings! Jeanie Ellis, Scrapbookingmamaw

Hedgehog with Flower

Hello, crafty peeps! I have another DT card to share with you! This one is called Hedgehog with flower from the animal link. Of course, it came from the Scrapoholic Candy Shop, where there's lots more to find! Here is my project card:

I just used kraft paper for the foundation of the card, and used designer paper and purple and white papers I already had in my stash. Then I added lace and a flower at the top from Gone Artsy's Zibbet store, added flowers and leaves at the bottom with a card, and she was finished!

I loved coloring her! She was very fun. (Or, she could be a boy...all in how you decorate your card!)

Little Lady Bug Collection

Hello, friends! Today I want to share with you my project I did for SCS. I used the digital Little Lady Bug collection. She is such an adorable little digi, that I couldn't resist her. All the paper I used was from the Paper Temptress collection, Basis, and the white paper is the heavy duty Heavenly White #100 paper.  Best paper ever! So, without further adieu, I bring you my project card for today:
Come on over and show us what you've done! Facebook here
