The Scrapoholic Candy Shop

Bathing Birdie SCS Project
Hello, crafty peeps! Today I want to share with you a tag I made using the Bathing Birdie image. I wanted to do something different with this one, so instead of a card I just used various cardstock, added sequin lace around the edge, added the butterfly and rhinestone swirls, flat-back pearls, and a little nest with eggs in it (all items were gifted to me). I added the lace "hanger" at the top. Miss Bathing Birdie was colored with the Pima watercolor pencils. I added some glossy accents to the water droplets and her eyes so they have a little shine to them. The flowers were colored with metallic gel pens.

She was such fun! I hope you join us over at The Scrapoholic Candy Shop blog!  Here is our Facebook link

Bathing Birdie

Hi Sharon here from Mollie Moo's Crafty Place showcasing a gorgeous new release today

I have used is Bathing Birdie

This cute image was perfect for the theme I had mind - a Baptism card

I colored the image with my alcohol markers choosing muted colors in the main but then making the bird pop with bright yellow
I kept to the summer theme with the design paper and chose a bright pink from the paper for the matting layers.
I typed the sentiment on my PC and again matted this with the same colored card.
I few graduated pearls in coordinating colors was all that was needed to finish the design

You can Bathing Birdie and all the new releases at the Scrapoholic Candy Shop

Tip Toe Through the Tulips

DT Dawn here, on this wonderful Saturday, to showcase a Scrapoholic Candy Shop cute digi stamp !
Meet Tip Toe Through the Tulips:

I printed out my image and colored it using Copics -  Y11, Y13, Y15, V17, V15, V12, R85, R83, R81, E11, E00, E000, R20, YR24, E35, YR21, YR20.  I then used my die to cut out my colored image.  I used a larger die and cut out a mat for behind my image.  I made a 6x6 card base with white card stock . I used some green, purple CS to decorate the front. I used a Spellbinders die to create my bow.  I added some pearls to finish off my card.....

A close up of my colored image:

A Closer peek at my bow:

Tip Toe Through the Tulips

The Scrapoholic Candy Shop Blog

Hello, everyone! Jeanie, DT here, to share with you my card for this week. This image is "Tip Toe Through the Tulips" I chose to keep this card CAS (clean and simple), because I didn't want to take away from that sweet little image! I used Prismacolors  on her, matted her on a couple different sheets of paper, and added a flat trim to both sides of the card. I added sentiments to the card, but no bling as I didn't want to "overload" the card for this image.

Be sure to check us out at our Scrapoholic Candy Shop Facebook page! More inspiration there, too!

What a Hoot

Hi Sharon here from Mollie Moo's Crafty Place, today I'm showcasing my all time favorite bird a cute little owl from the shop

He is part of the Snuggle Palz and is a 2 digistamp set his pal being a super cute Giraffe

I have chosen to color him in traditional owl colors and giving him a big pink heart on his tummy.

I used alcohol markers for most of him and then fine line water makers to give texture to his feathers.
The branch and leaves were die cut and I fussy cut the owl so I could sit him on the branch
I then chose a digital backing paper with clouds on to look as though he was high up the tree.
I stamped sentiment which was fitting finishes off my design

You can find him and all his friends in the Snuggle Palz section

We also have a Facebook page where you can get more inspiration from me and my teamies, there are also giveaways and discounted posted frequently!
